It's Memorial Weekend here in the US, so work gave us the afternoon off to celebrate. So I met Bethzaira and Oscar for lunch at Walter Foods our new favorite restaurant.

I had the short rib burger with fries, Bethzaira had the French Dip baguette and Oscar had Leche. He was a bit mad that we didn't order helado for dessert...

But he soon crashed out into a full food coma.

Waterworld!

Uncle Matthew bought Oliver a playstation. Not the kind you plug in but the kind you have the best kind of fun with, wet, water fun!

Oliver loves it, now he spends most evening & weekends (weather permitting) playing in the garden.

I bought a sail shade for those supa hot summer days so we can still play out without getting too sun-burnt. Here we can see the quiet concentration of Aqua Boy...

And the raging waters of the Kraken!

"All done" the boat was fixed and Aqua Boy returned to saving the planet...

MR KITE

Saturday afternoon we took O & O to see the Kite Festival in Mc Carren Park.

Ju Ju was there with her Mom, Oliver was a bit shy not like Juliette who wandered off to see the kites for herself!

He came wobbling back...

It was a beautiful day and Uncle Byron joined us for the afternoon...

You can see him in Daddy's glasses if you look carefully! (click on the photo)

Oliver felt a eerie presence by the soft ball pitch...

It sounded like "blue"...

If fact it made him quite nervous!

Lucky Daddy was there to save him!

We moved to the shade as it was very sunny for Oscar. You can see he has the trademark Parr toes...

On the way home Oliver had a real treat his first Lalo from the ice cream van...

He held on to it until the last drop, literally!

We all headed back to ours for a nice BBQ in the backyard. The perfect end to great day!
