Babes in the Woods...

 Oliver met up with a "old" school friend Mikaela.

 They went for a jungle walk amongst the tall grass.

 I could hear them giggling away...

 Thankfully, unlike the original story they did not get lost...

 I think they wanted me to "get lost!"

 Oliver seemed to enjoy Mikaela's rough and tumble play.

 All I could hear from Oliver was "What you doing?!"

 Poor Oscar was so tired from his busy morning,

but he refused to sleep.

 The babes continued to play by the water's edge...

 ...And "Hanging Tree" as Oliver calls it.

 Barefoot and fancy free!

Eastside Story

 We went for brunch in the city with Abuela Jeddy on Saturday.

Afterwards we took a stroll around our old neighborhood.

Oliver was quite taken by this makeshift performance.

 O&O had fun playing together in Tompkin Squares

newly renovated kids park...

 It was SO hot, as you can see by Olivers frizzy hair!

 Oscar quickly took control of "The situation".

"Look at me now, look at me now!!!"

 "Don't look at MY brudder!"

It was a fun day, all topped off with a Viking cheer!

"Oi-Ye!"

Swords & Soldiers...

 Last Saturday I made some fun swords and knives for O&O.

So many to choose from...

 Oliver - "Hmm, there's a good one..."

 (Funny how this one became his instant favorite).

 And then there was one,

(my favorite actually).

 Then there were none...

 The Viking hordes!

 That afternoon we revisited the Met and

Oliver's favorite room the "Knights and Soldiers".

 Oliver - "No, your a soldier and I'm a Knight...

NO, I'm a soldier and your a Knight!"

 Oliver - "Hmm, what's this one?"

 Oscar - "I dunno?"

 Show me your teeth!!!

Ciaran - "Look he has a moustache like Grandpa Peter!"

Oliver - "...Nuffing"

Holy Moses!

 We drove out to Robert Moses beach the other weekend.

Oscar didn't have much to say to begin with...

 Probably too much on his mind, sorry I mean mouth!

 Oscar - "Stop!"

 Oliver was his usual camera shy-self.

Oscar - "Your twistin' my melon man!"

 Is that a smile I see Oliver?!

 NO, it's a piece of meat think!

 Oscar had so much fun in the wild surf, screaming and shouting!

He crashed out for nearly an hour and half.

 The Turone's joined us for some fresh air...

 Julian & Oliver dug this magnificent castle and moat,

ALL by themselves...

 I just did the entrance to the castle...

before it got smashed!

 We saw a major storm hit the city and JFK,

but we were spared the downpour and watched from afar.

 O&O enjoyed the cool of the evening

last night, down in the garden.

Buzz was busy being Spiderman...

 Poor Oscar didn't even have a chance...

Old Buzz was snatched away before he could play.

Oscar delivered a swift punch in retaliation!

Pasta for 3!

We survived the 4 days without Bethzaira,

she was in Milan with work. Not wanting to miss out,

we had pasta and meatballs on Tuesday night, bellissimo!
