Genevieve, Michael & Ju Ju kindly took us all out for the afternoon on Saturday to visit the NY Aquarium in Coney Island. We saw all kinds of fish and crazy underwater creatures...

Oliver was a little "Scare, Scare" but he liked walking around with Ju Ju untethered and free to roam. The walrus was quite amazing it keep circling around so we could get a good view of her enormous size from nose to tail..
The shark tank was cool they had lots of large Sand Tigers, a white tip reef shark and a few lemon sharks. They shared their tank with two sea turtles, one Green, one Hawksbill and a giant sting ray...
The jellyfish area was so cool, I kept thinking how wicked it would be to have a whole wall in your apartment like this...
The blue color was SO relaxing...

This dogfish had the right idea we were all quite tired from walking around so we headed for the boardwalk and beach...

The heat was getting too much so we all stepped out for so fresh air...

Bethzaira has been sending me photos of her week with Oscar, she has really been able to enjoy him so much more than when she was at home with Oliver.
We both feel second time round is so much more relaxed and he brings sunshine & smiles to us all...
We had our first full family Memorial day BBQ on Monday, Uncle Matthew & Zack came by with an amazing array of delicious delights. The Shumai burgers were a big hit and my personal favorite was the pork belly!
Genevieve, Michael and Ju Ju came by with the pool which kept Oliver & Ju Ju entertained all afternoon. I lost count of the outfit changes for Oliver after 3...
Liz, Alex and Luna also came over...
Looney Tunes especially loved the terrace for sunbathing!
Uncle Byron and Antonio rode over the Williamsburg Bridge test running Antonio's new fix wheel bike.
Oliver made sure he was center of attention...

Oliver just had to be next to me, just in case I forgot he was number 1. I helped him brush up on his French in his little yellow phrase book, Oui Oui!
But I think Ju Ju was more impressed by the giant TV and her furry friend. It was a wonderful day, we look forward to many more BBQ's and memories!
Saturday Genevieve, Michael & Ju Ju picked Oliver and I up to go to the beach. We made it through the holiday weekend traffic just in time to soak up the sun and enjoy a wonderful afternoon...
